Awnings

The Siesta can be fitted directly to the window casement or to the wall above the window. The design is suitable for applications anywhere and awning can be easily controlled from the inside or outside.

Controls

The Siesta window awning is operated by a Terylene tape, secured by a self-locking devise that engages as soon as the tape is released. Alternatively, a gear drive can be provided. Both internal and external operations are available.
A special offset fitting enables a Siesta awning to be wider than the window to be fitted, while still allowing the operation tape to pass through the casement. Electric operation is also available, and can be complemented by automatic solar and wind controls. Several awnings can be connected together in series.

Components

The arms of the Siesta window awning are fitted with patented components for the front tube and wall brackets, with three locking positions. Mounting brackets and arm attachments are of galvanized steel. The end covers, in which the roller tube tape drums are mounted, are of glass fibre reinforced polyamide.

Extrusions

The cassette, front tube, roller tube and arm profiles are of extruded anodized 6063 T6 aluminum.

Textiles

Pull tapes are 100% Terylene. Fabrics are available in PVC coated polyester mesh or 100% solution dyed acrylic.
